Drone Flutes

Drone Flutes play like two flutes joined together, one side is a 6 hole flute while the second side plays one note, the key note of the flute. The two blow holes are side-by-side so they can be played together or separately. These Drone Flutes are available in Aromatic Cedar.

Key of A

A double flute that plays the Am scale on one side and a single low A note on the other.

Key of G

A double flute that plays the Gm scale on one side and a single low G note on the other.

Key of F#

A double flute that plays the F#m scale on one side and a single low F# note on the other.

Drone Series $249

Experience Level: Intermediate/Advanced

We recommend Drone Flutes to those with a reasonable amount of previous experience playing classic wooden flutes. The player needs good breath and embouchure control to produce the finest tonality from these flutes.
